The Princeton Posse are excited to announce the acquisition of defenseman Elijah Havers from the Castlegar Rebels. The KIJHL veteran will be suiting up for his third team in Princeton following 57 games with the Castlegar and 28 games with the Osoyoos Coyotes.
“Elijah will be a strong addition to our roster. He is a player with lots of experience which after last season is hard to find. On top of experience we were really drawn to the hard to play against flavour of his game, he will make the game uncomfortable for opponents in our defensive end night in and night out. In a season where we will see divisional opponents 8 times each, I have no doubt there will be 1 team happy to see Elijah in a Posse jersey and 4 teams that wish he wasn’t.” said GM Mark McNaughton
Havers will join the rest of the Posse roster when training camp opens at the Princeton & District Arena, September 2nd.
