Blake Sittler of the Princeton Posse is this weekβs Young Guns, presented by the Next Shift Network, as he won twice against the North Okanagan Knights stopping 68 of 71 shots for a 1.30 goals against average and a .958 save percentage.
Included in those stats is a 27-save shutout performance. Posse head coach-GM Mark Readman says Sittler was able to track pucks well and stay mentally locked in βduring spurts where he didnβt see much action and prepared for his next shots well.βΒ
βWhen Blake is at his best, heβs seeing pucks and progressions well, and is able to settle play by controlling rebounds and pace of play and he was able to do that for us last round.β
Sittler is 4-0 in the Teck Cup playoffs with a 2.03 GAA and a .927 SP.
