Posse defends KIJHL’s President’s Cup title

 

The Princeton Posse have won the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League’s President’s Cup, finishing first overall with a record of 35-8-0-1 in 44 games. The Posse defeated the Summerland Steam on the road as Justice Loewen scored his 13th goal to give the Posse a 2-1 lead early in the second period, en route to a 9-1 victory. Blake Sittler saved 20 shots to earn his sixth win with the Posse.

The Posse won their first KIJHL President’s Trophy title last season with a record of 31-7-3-3.
