The Princeton Posse would like to congratulate Head Coach and General Manager Torrin White on accepting a new role as an Assistant Coach with the Western Hockey League’s Lethbridge Hurricanes.
White, 30, joined the Posse ahead of the 2024–25 season and made an immediate impact on the organization. Under his leadership, the team posted a 33-7-3-1 regular season record—finishing first in the Bill Ohlhausen Division and second overall in the KIJHL standings. The season marked one of the most competitive campaigns in recent Posse history, driven by White’s focus on structure, accountability, and player development.
“Torrin brought a level of professionalism and preparation that raised the standard across the board,” said Mark McNaughton, the Posse’s Head of Operations. “He came in with a clear plan, executed it, and earned the respect of our players, staff, and community. We’re grateful for the year he gave us and confident his impact will be felt for seasons to come. We wish him nothing but success at the WHL level.”
White now joins a strong Lethbridge Hurricanes program in the WHL, marking a significant step forward in his coaching career.
The Princeton Posse are currently in the process of evaluating potential candidates to lead the team into the 2025–26 KIJHL season. An announcement regarding the next Head Coach will be made in the coming weeks.
