Chase Cooke Joins BCHL Centennials

Our club Is excited to announce that 2003 defenseman, Chase Cooke has been signed by the Merritt Centennials of the BCHL.  Chase, a Merritt, BC native joins his hometown club after 29 games with the Posse.

In his time with Princeton he proved to be an electrifying and effective defender who saw success on both the defensive and offensive side of the puck.  He picked up 15 pts, 6 goals and 9 assists and at the time of his departure was leading the KIJHL in points by a defenseman his age.

We knew Chase was an outstanding prospect when we added him at the start of the season.  One of the biggest advantages of playing in the KIJHL is that you get to prove you can play against junior level competition.  When he was able to show he was an effective junior hockey player it was only a matter of time before he was moving up.  We are proud to have helped him make this jump and happy he can go make an impact in his hometown.
