Billet Families Needed for the 2022-23 Season

The Princeton Posse are always looking for community members to join our group of billet families.  This is one of the most important pieces of operating a junior hockey program in Princeton.  As an organization, we bring players into our community from all over North America.  These dedicated young athletes need a caring and healthy living environment while they are in our town.

For the 2022-23 season, we will be looking for homes for 23 to 25 players from mid-September to March into April depending on playoff performance.

Billet families receive $700 per month for each player (Paid directly by the team), a discount at Save on Foods, and season family passes to Posse home games.

Our organization will provide a Minor Hockey rebate of the cost of up to two Princeton & District Minor Hockey registrations for any PDMHA families willing join our billet program.

If you are interested in billeting or more information about the program please contact team GM Mark McNaughton at mcnaughton@princetonposse.org or (250) 293-6543

Player scheduling:

Our players range from 16 to 20 years old, high school age players generally attend PSS and are expected to attend all classes on top of their hockey schedule.

Graduated players have the option of either working part time or participating in various volunteer capacities organized by our program.

Daily hockey scheduling consists of:

Practice (3-4 hrs per day)

Gym (1-2 hrs per day)

44 Games (2-3 games per week home games take up 1/2 of a day, road games take up a whole day.)

Team meetings ( 2-4 hrs per week)

Players have a nightly curfew of 10:00 PM unless a billet home needs them to be in the home and quiet earlier than that.
